Purpose of the Form
This form helps you check whether your Co-Financed Research Project Agreement can be generated correctly using the standard template provided by the University of Copenhagen. By answering the questions, you provide the information needed for an initial assessment.
When your Head of Department signs, they confirm that the information you have provided is accurate.
If your project does not meet the requirements for the standard co-financed agreement, or if you are unsure, you can always contact the Legal Team for Research and IP for guidance.
Please note that the generated agreement is based on the university’s standard template for co-financed research projects.
This template is non-modifiable. If you need to change any clause or condition in the agreement, the modification must be handled manually by the UCPH IP & Legal Team through a formal review process.

These terms apply to the standard co-financed research agreement that will be generated based on the information you provide in the form.
- ➜ Any change to the contract or its terms must be reviewed and approved by the UCPH IP & Legal Team before it can be made.
- ➜ Users are not permitted to alter or modify the standard agreement themselves.
- ➜ Only changes formally approved by the IP & Legal team are valid.
- ➜ Any unapproved edits made by the user will not be recognised as legally binding.
Before you start is the personal data clause relevant for this project?
This clause applies if the project requires either Party to process, exchange, or transfer personal data related to employees or any other individuals as part of the research activities. If the project involves handling such personal data for example, sharing research data containing personal information between the Parties then the Personal Data clause is relevant and the Parties must enter into the appropriate data processing or data transfer agreements in accordance with applicable data protection law.
